Provided design/construction management for the new NASDAQ facilities, which included raised access floor space within a reliable, maintainable 7x24x365 operation. To ensure operability of the market at full capacity, the data centers were designed with dual utility power lines complete with closed transition transfer between the utility and the on-site engine-generator plants. The firm-patented UPS system was uniquely designed with ring bus distribution, allowing multiple tie transfer capability between modules and systems. The facility offers concurrent operation with an existing common communications center and a cut-over to the new data center to accommodate continuous, uninterrupted trading.
